Josie the Dog needs a home
Josie is an 9 month old hound mix with a very special story.
Josie was found in the late summer as a stray and taken to the Boone County Animal Shelter. While she was there, the staff found out she was very sick. The staff did everything in their power to heal this sweet girl. She was in the shelter for about 2 months under constant care and love from the staff. Josie has made a full recovery and is now a fun, happy, loving puppy.
She has adjusted well to her foster home. She loves to run with her friends in the yard, visit her friends at the shelter, and curl up in your lap. Josie does well with other dogs and also likes cats, but does want to play with them.
Josie is crate trained and doing great with her potty training. If you are looking for a special girl who deserves the best life then Josie is your girl!
